One of the most buzzed about films by sci-fi enthusiasts and movie-goers, Prometheus opened up an entirely different world filled with philosophical questions about the origin of the human race. If its own objective was to keep the fans, guessing what exactly the movie is apart, they’ve succeeded. Each part had been dissected and studied in order for fans to get supporting facts to backup their own opinions of the film.

After years of massive speculations and discussions about the possibility of another movie, Ridley Scott confirmed that he will once again return to the Prometheus universe for a sequel.
Here’s the latest Prometheus 2 Release Date and Plot Spoilers.
The famous sci-fi mastermind and 20th Century Fox, the production giant behind the film, are now working on the plot, with 15 drafts and evolving.
Scott had previously revealed that the sequel will be staying from Xenomorphs. “I think you’ve got to come back with something more interesting. And I think we’ve found the next step. I thought the Engineers were quite a good start.” Many people are left to wonder what that “next step” truly entails.
But, if you were to ask the lead actress, Noomi Rapace, she might have an idea of the direction her character might be headed in Prometheus 2.
Rapace plays Elizabeth Shaw, the only survivor among mankind in the last film. She, along with decapitated Droid, David (Michael Fassbender) set out unto space to find the Engineers and their homeworld, and find out the real reason behind their creators’ motive in ending the human race.
The star stressed that she doesn’t know exactly what Scott has planned for the followup movie, but shared, “I know that Elizabeth Shaw wants to go to paradise…She can’t go to Earth. There’s nothing left for her there, really. She wants to go to where they came from…I think in her head, that’s the ‘Dark Paradise’. I think she wants to know answers.”
When asked about who, or rather what, the potential villain could be in Prometheus 2, Rapace said, “God? the devil? …or I don’t know where he’s going to take us.”
But, while finding the Gods, or the Engineers, and the Dark Paradise won’t be too much of a stretch for the story, ScreenRant thinks that it’s highly unlikely that the Prometheus sequel will immediately open up to Elizabeth and David arriving in the bustling destination. They believe that it’s much more probable that, “they’ll be caught up in a horrific detour or arrive safe and sound, but find the Engineers have been ravaged by a completely different threat.”
Although it will push for a quite lengthy story and movie, it does present an interesting storyline for the second film.
Prometheus 2 had initially targeted for a 2016 release date, with filming to commence in fall of 2014. However, because of the delay in production schedule, the studios has failed to announce another official release date as of yet. (source)

Peter Maximoff has posted on his Instagram account a new video that features Peter, a.k.a. Quicksilver, playing some kind of trivia game with his friends. While trying to answer the question about the meaning of the word “lodestone”, he uses his super speed to find out online and in a book the answer to the question.
The text with the video says, “Good thing Mom kept all those weird books on magnets,” which is clearly a tease at the idea that Magneto is Peter’s father, as he is in the comics.

X-Men: Days of Future Past comes to Blu-ray and DVD on October 14.

“Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy are much more than costars : they’re kindred spirits who run and race – and sometimes rage – together. Their latest onscreen reunion comes in this month’s X-men: Days of Future Past. Offscreen, they met in a North London pub for a drink-up and a few rounds of straight talk on superheroes, Shakespeare, snogging Angelina, and the meaning of their true bromance” – as the intro for the interview states.

It’s a fantastic interview of both James and Michael, which just proves once again the great chemistry of these two fantastic actors both on- and off-screen. Together with the exlusive interview comes a fantastic covers, actually double cove, which I’ve scanned and uploaded on my fansite for you guys, enjoy 😉

Untitled 16

Michael Fassbender and James McAvoy play the youthful versions of famed frenemies Magneto and Professor X in the current X-Men universe. In real life, however, these two seem like the bestest of best friends since Chris Pine and Zachary Quinto. (Like the “Star Trek” stars, the McFassy bromance has an appropriate Tumblr presence as well.) If you don’t like having comic book movie plots spoiled years in advance, this year’s Comic-Con probably wasn’t for you. If, however, you enjoy seeing Ian McKellen try to literally charm the pants off of his X-Men: Days of Future Past co-star Michael Fassbender, then this year’s Comic-Con was probably the best thing to happen ever.

McKellen and Fassbender, who will play old and young Magneto, respectively, were sitting near each other at their Comic-Con panel. Questions were asked, answered, and generally bantered over until McKellen decided that Fassbender was just too handsome not to flirt with. So, without further ado, this is what Ian McKellen’s game sounds like: “I just want to say it’s great to be back in California,” McKellen told the crowd. “I feel safe here now that you’ve gotten rid of Proposition 8. I’m looking for a husband…It’s great to meet you, Michael.” [source]

The plot chronicles X-Men as they travel through time and interact with past versions of themselves, pairing Ian McKellen and Halle Berry, stars of the earlier “X-Men” trilogy, with Fassbender and Lawrence, who anchored “X-Men: First Class. Bryan Singer, who directed “X-Men” and “X2,” wrote and directed “Days of Future Past.”

“The goal was to make a film that would bring the casts together,” Singer said at a press conference before the panel at Comic-Con. “Time travel or displacement would be tool we could use to do that.”

Singer came on stage first and showed a sliver of footage from the movie, which will open in theaters next summer. The one man who could play himself in both movies was Hugh Jackman because his character, Wolverine, is ageless. Jackman was on stage just moments earlier talking about “Wolverine,” the upcoming film focused on the clawed mutant.

Jackman has now played “Wolverine” in six movies — “Days of Future Past” will be number seven — prompting “Wolverine” director James Mangold to compare the harmony of actor and character to Sean Connery as James Bond and Clint Eastwood as the man with no name. Jackman tirelessly lauded the fans at Comic-Con, thanking them for their support and for elevating his career to new heights. Playing Wolverine in the first “X-Men” was his first role in an American movie, and the always gracious actor argued it was one of the greatest roles in all of cinema.

His own cast members contested that moments later when a fan asked them who their favorite “X-Men” character was. While Wolverine received three votes, Mystique (Lawrence) came out on top with four. And a fraction of another. Patrick Stewart said he would play “any female character in any ‘X-Men’ movie because then I might stand the chance of winning an Academy Award.” Berry and Lawrence both took home statuettes after their initial turns in “X-Men” — though for other roles.

Many of the cast members commented on how it was working with people from the other movies, using that as an opportunity to tell some jokes.

“The best part about this movie has been knowing that at an earlier time in my life I was James McAvoy,” Patrick Stewart quipped, to which McAvoy said he would be more than happy to grow up and be Sir Patrick Stewart.

Several of the actors on stage have been on other panels at the annual convention, including Peter Dinklage (“Game of Thrones”) and Anna Paquin (“True Blood”).
So what’s it like directing that many different stars at once?

“I like ensemble films,” Singer said. “I started with ‘The Usual Suspects.’ There’s a lot of interesting people to cut to. The more the merrier.” [source]
